Dads' v Sons' teams September 2003 Babbacombe Exposed
Another match winning performance and much has changed for the home side since that dark day in August 2002, when Bradninch were effectively denied their rightful promotion place by a 'no result' at Babbacombe. The stark contrast, in a match adeptly officiated and once again visibly one sided, was a true result providing Bradninch with their second win and 38 out of a possible 40 points in the 2004 campaign. Following early season 20 point wins in the Sunday North Devon League away to Ilfracombe and at home to Shebbear, the Saturday Devon League sides got off to an excellent start each winning by 9 wickets in commanding style, taking 38 points out of a possible 40.
