Following the report on Ross Acton and his footballing exploits
on his 18th birthday it is worth mentioning that a number of the
Club�s players maintain their fitness on the football pitch
during the winter months.
2nd XI award-winning opening-bat Rob Acton and 2nd XI veteran
Pete Hardy are both qualified referees and can often be found
officiating in the Devon & Exeter League programme whilst on
Wednesday nights a number of the Club�s players can be found at
the Culm Valley Sports Centre playing football on the Astroturf.
Recently spotted there were Dan Hardy, Luke Wrightson and 2nd XI
skipper Nat Davey.
