If being in the bottom two at the halfway stage of the season is considered a problem - the sides occupying the two drop-zone places go down - the opposite can be said of teams at the top of their divisions. That�s why the Club�s 2nd XI can look forward to the second half of the season with plenty of optimism.

They start the second half of the programme with a game at Kensham Park against Whitchurch, and a big points haul will set them up nicely for the following week�s game at Kingsbridge, which is followed, by back-to-back home games against Bideford and Thorverton.

Once the latter (a Mid Devon Derby) is out of the way Nat Davey�s side will have just three more home games and three more away trips with the curtain coming down with the 2nd September visit of Plymouth Civil Service to Kensham Park.
