| If being in the bottom two at the halfway stage
of the season is considered a problem - the sides occupying the two
drop-zone places go down - the opposite can be said of teams at the
top of their divisions. Thats why the Clubs 2nd XI can look
forward to the second half of the season with plenty of optimism.
They start the second half of the programme with a game at Kensham
Park against Whitchurch, and a big points haul will set them up
nicely for the following weeks game at Kingsbridge, which is
followed, by back-to-back home games against Bideford and
Thorverton.
Once the latter (a Mid Devon Derby) is out of the way Nat Daveys
side will have just three more home games and three more away trips
with the curtain coming down with the 2nd September visit of
Plymouth Civil Service to Kensham Park. |
