For the fourth time in seven outings the 1st XI have been docked a penalty point for the time it has taken to get through their allotted overs. A single point was deducted from their total in Saturdays losing draw at South Devon. In all it is six points that the team have been penalised in the campaign to date.

They go into Saturdays game at Kensham Park when they entertain leaders North Devon on 76 points, 16 ahead of bottom side Seaton and 37 behind Saturdays opponents.

The second promotion spot is just 23 points away. Saturday sees the A Division reach the half way mark of the campaign.
