| This year we are running two U15
teams. We originally wanted to do U14�s and U15�s but there
weren�t enough clubs running U14�s to make a viable league so in
order to maximise the amount of cricket available to young
people we decided to run two U15 teams. The two team Managers
are Bernadette Kent and David Harvey whose details appear under
the colts section of the website if you want to contact them.
Any new players will be made most welcome as the squad is going
to be stretched to the limit in order to fulfil a demanding
fixture list.
Fixtures start on the 8th May with the visit of Exeter St
James to Keynsham Gardens, for the first game for the West side.
Wickets will be pitched at 18.00 and all supporters will be very
welcome. The second fixture and first for the East team is
Budleigh at home on Weds 10th again at 18.00.
Several of the boys have attended the nets run by Mark
Stanbury on Sat am's and through the winter. There is also a
hard core who have run impromptu sessions themselves when the
weather has been kind. So the enthusiasm is there all we need
now is the weather to match. |
