SEPTEMBER

  • 1st & 2nd XI success Many congratulations to the Saturday 2nd XI on their third successive DCL promotion under the Captaincy of Nat Davey. A wonderful and formative achievement, as with the Saturday 1st XI finishing a very commendable 4th in the 'A' Division after a rain interrupted campaign, both the 1st XI and 2nd XI are now just one further promotion away from the very highest standard of Devon league cricket. [B Div 2nd XI results]

  • Sunday XI promotion secure Close on the heels of the Saturday DCL success, the Sunday 1st XI go in to their penultimate game of the season leading the NDL 2nd Division, with their own third consecutive promotion in to the 1st Division already secured. Victory in this attractive home fixture against Lynton & Lynmouth, who are currently in second place, will win promotion as champions and with the weather set fair it promises to be an exciting curtain raiser to next weekend's final game at home to third placed Victoria Park.
