Arranging the 2007 Dinner & Dance in September proved a popular decision, as over 60 guests attended another very successful end of season celebration. There was much to thank the hard working committee for, not least of which the stunning dcor and engaging ambiance created in the BCC Pavilion for the event. Pictures of the evening

The dinner was as always an absolute delight and the speeches marked another year of development and achievement, embracing a very creditable fourth in the 'A' Division for the Saturday 1st XI, alongside the exceptional feat of the Saturday 2nd XI and Sunday 1st XI, who were celebrating their respective third consecutive promotions.

This unprecedented success takes the Club to the highest level of North Devon League cricket on Sundays and just one step away from Devon Cricket League Premiere Division cricket for both the 1st XI and the 2nd XI on Saturdays.

With the youthful Sunday 2nd XI finding their feet and a local Twenty/20 competition planned for next season, there was a very positive air of expectation about the future, as an array of young talent stepped up to receive the following awards :-

BCC Player of the Year - Ross Acton
1st XI Batsman - Tim Piper
1st XI Bowler - Ross Acton
Ken Salter Cup - Ross Acton
2nd XI Batsman - Lucas Fencl
2nd XI Bowler - Billy Wakeley
Ken Salter Shield - Mark Perrott
Sunday 1st XI Player of the Year - Ross Acton
Sunday 2nd XI Player of the Year - Nick Dean
Most Improved Player - Ross Acton
Fielder of the Year - Mark Perrott
Clubman of the Year (Bob Wykes Shield) - Chris Dean

Congratulations to all and many thanks to everyone who helped make it another very special night.
