Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the 1st XI arrive at their DAY OF
DESTINY when they can finally nail that promotion berth into the
top flight of Devon County Cricket. It would be a marvellous
achievement and one that would taste all the sweeter if
accomplished on home soil.
Brixham provide the opposition for the last home game of the
2008 season and tomorrow afternoons visitors are the only side
who could yet prevent Joel Murphy and his men climbing into the
Premier Division for the first time in the clubs history.
However ANY positive result for Murphys men tomorrow and the
champagne corks to celebrate promotion will be popping long into
the night at the Kensham Park headquarters.
The weather forecast looks a lot better than it has for the past
two match days, everything is set fair. Cometh the hour, cometh
the men and Murphys men its your time. Good luck for the big
game, lets seal it in style. |
