There was certainly plenty of merriment in the 2nd XI game at
Abbotskerswell on Saturday. Not only did the side win their
final away game of the League season but the fixture also marked
the 52nd birthday of the club�s very honourable Secretary, Chris
Dean.
Dean was not the oldest on show, oh no, that �honour� went to
the Daddy of the side, Les Kent, still pulling on the whites
despite his tender age of 62. Lucas Fencl was the XI�s junior on
the day at 27!
The team on parade had a combined �years on terra firma� of 521
� now that is what you call an experienced eleven!
