This Wednesday night offers the club the very real chance of
sending BOTH its sides contesting the popular inaugural Freeman
& French Mid Devon Twenty20, on to the Finals Day, which the
club will host at Kensham Park on Sunday August 10th. Going
into this midweek�s final round of matches two sides - Bradninch
A and Tiverton & Bickleigh are safely through, but it is very
much �perm one from four� in each of the two groups, East and
West, as to which sides join the two already there. Bradninch
B host win-less Cullompton � but the Landspeed Meadow side would
still qualify if they could win and the result of the
Kentisbeare versus Honiton game were to be a narrow home win!
In the other group Thorverton meet Halberton, with both sides
still mathematically at least, in with a shout but far more
likely is the fact that the winners of the Heathcoat versus
Shobrooke game will go through to the Finals Day. |
