The
inaugural Mid Devon Twenty20 cup is set to be staged during July
and August with the Finals day being staged right here at
Kensham Park cricket ground on Sunday August 10th. The
competition has been kindly sponsored by Tiverton based building
company Freeman & French and will see ten sides do battle in two
rounds prior to determining who will contest the semi finals and
ultimately the final. Gary Newall has been instrumental in
getting this tournament off and running (nice one Gary), and
look out for all the razzmatazz that goes with Twenty20, ghetto
blasting music and running commentary � especially on Finals Day
(August 10th), which already looks a day to be present at the
clubs HQ. The schedule of matches is: Group One (WEST) Wed
