Hot off the plane from Hollywood, Jake Foan performed to a
packed house at the Cricket Club, as members and guests gathered
to say their fond farewells to this year's overseas players.
As the sun went down on a hugely successful season, the club
sparkled and spun to Jake's music, with every request receiving
his mesmerising interpretation.
Those that missed his return, have another opportunity to enjoy
this unique local talent, as he takes a break from recording to
perform at the Cricket Club pavilion once again on
Saturday 15th November.
Tickets are on sale at £2.50 (including a complimentary hot
dog!) in the Spar Shop from Monday, 27th October 2008, with OAPs
& Under 18s - £1.00 and members free.
Don't miss the chance to come along and select your favourite
song from a wide range of artists including Elvis, Frank
Sinatra, Elton John, James Blunt, Robbie Williams and many more.
Please also note the Cricket Club advert inside this issue of
Bradninch Life, and consider the opportunity to book your very
own Private Party at the Cricket Club pavilion. A large free car
park, fully licensed bar and well equipped kitchen makes the
pavilion a very attractive venue.
The BCC committee will do everything they can to make your night
a success and if you would like to book Jake for your special
occasion, log on to his website at
www.jakefoan.co.uk where you can listen and see him perform,
and place an early order of his latest CD for your Xmas
stocking.
