Many congratulations to Tim Piper, starting the season with a magnificent 81 in a total of 163 at Shobrooke Park on Saturday, ably supported by Paul Nott chipping in with 21.

A sound all round bowling performance from Ross Acton, Paul Nott, Mark Perrott, Gary Chappell and Matt Jarrett, with a cameo at the end from Danny Hardy, saw Bradninch home by one run, providing an excellent work out for those that donned the whites for the first time this year.

Also great to see Gary Chappell making his debut for the Devon senior side on Sunday, turning in fine figures of 0-22 off 8 tidy overs, as Devon won easily against West Midlands based Streets2Arena CC at the Exeter County Ground.
