Four games to go in the 2009 Francis Clark Devon Cricket League
season and the battle to avoid the drop from the top-flight
could not be closer. In past seasons by this stage, at least one
of the sides set to take the drop back to the A Division is
usually ‘set in stone’ and there are a couple of sides then
battling to avoid joining them.
This term it’s tighter than it’s ever been with just 17 points
separating 5th placed Budleigh Salterton (last year’s runners
up) and 2nd bottom Torquay.
Here we take a look at who has who to play in the last four
