Following the Freeman and French Mid Devon Twenty20 success
Bradninch now take on B Division Alphington, who defeated
Premier champions-in-waiting, Sidmouth, to get this far, this
coming Thursday evening to discover which of the two sides will
journey up the North Devon Link Road on Sunday (August 16th) to
take part in the County Finals Day.
Hopefully Bradninch will prevail and make it to Instow on Sunday
although that may well then cause a fixture headache with the
Sunday XI due to play a vital North Devon Holiday Homes League
game that day.
The Finals Day of the Devon Twenty20 is this coming Sunday
(August 16th) at Instow, North Devon when North Devon will take
on the winners of the Bradninch versus Alphington meeting and in
the second semi-final, Plympton will face the winners of the
Paignton and Bovey Tracey meeting.
All being well, if it is Bradninch then the first semi-final
will be played at 10.30am followed immediately by the 2nd semi
final.
There will then be a break for a players buffet before the Final
starting at 4pm. If Bradninch are still involved at this stage,
then the presentation ceremony is expected to take place at
6.15pm.
