The highly successful Mid Devon Twenty20 that the club ran last
season, returns for another round of big-hitting in 2009 and
there are still a couple of places up for grabs in the
competition.
Gary Newall, who made such a fantastic job of organising the
tournament last year, says:
“We could take a couple more sides which would then takes us
into two full groups prior to finals day. It went very well last
year – when the weather relented to allow us to play, and
fingers crossed, we get the elements with us this coming season
and I am sure we’ll have an even more favourable product for
players and spectators alike.”
Clubs interested in taking part in the Mid Devon Twenty20 are
invited to contact Newall as soon as possible.
