Club chairman Derrick Foan has sought to clarify the situation
regarding ground markings with the Francis Clark Devon League
secretary Geoff Coish to discover just how the 75% figure
accredited to the Kensham Park pitch was arrived at.
What he was told was that the Umpires mark the ground and pitch at each
match, and out of a total of 5.
The marks for the home games that were awarded prior to the
release of the half-way mark figures were.

It is only when the mark falls below 3 that the Umpires are
obliged to give further details.
