The Freeman and French Mid Devon Twenty20 will try again to
complete its Finals day schedule this coming Sunday (August 2)
after last weekend’s day was washed out after just one of the
semi-finals.
The game that was completed before the elements took charge was
a one-sided affair that saw unbeaten D Division leaders
Thorverton thump E Division Whimple. Batting first the Thors
posted a healthy total of 205-8 and then whipped Whimple out for
70.
Awaiting Thorverton in the Final is Bradninch or Heathcoat who
were unable to continue their game with the host club 72 without
loss after eight overs.
The two sides will start again at Kensham Park on Sunday with a
high noon start and the winners will then face Thorverton in the
Final which is scheduled to begin at 4pm - weather permitting!
