Bernadette Kent together with her daughters Lucy and Tara and
the extended family of her much loved husband Les, would like to
say a massive THANK YOU to everybody who contributed to the fund
that was gathered in Les's name which is to be shared between
HOSPICE CARE and PANCREATIC CANCER.
Both at the funeral (much of the funds were donated at St Disens
Church) and since the celebration of Les’s life, the fabulous
sum in excess of £1,000 has been raised.
Bernadette said:
"Dear Les would have been so humbled by it all. The fact that so
much money was donated in his name would have tickled him as he
really was one to shun both the limelight or indeed, seek praise
for anything. I’d like to think he’s in heaven looking down and
commenting on what a lot of fuss they made about me!
Things are slowly getting back to normal in the Kent household.
Dear Les is of course gone but most certainly not forgotten and
I would dearly like on behalf of the girls to say a heartfelt
thank you to everybody for their generosity in Les’s name."
