Gary Chappell has been rewarded for his stunning start to the
season with a call-up into the Devon County 14-man squad for
next Sunday’s (June 6) game at Torquay against Cornwall.
Chappell will compete for what are thought to be two spinner's
berths with the two currently holding down those berths,
Exmouth’s Chris Metters and Bovey Tracey’s Chris Bradley.
Chappell, who took a career best 8-16 in the win at Budleigh,
now has an amazing 18 wickets under his belt this term after
five matches - and he missed one of those!
