The Bradninch Under 13s fielded a very youthful side for their
Bradleys East Devon Youth League meeting with a strong Woodbury
side.
Batting first Bradninch managed to post a reasonable total of
79-4 led by Freddie Foster with a splendid unbeaten 18 and the
other not out batsman was Sam Helman with 10.
The home side, one of the strongest in this age group, cruised
to victory on 77-1 with half the allotted 20 overs to play but
there was joy for 10 year old Josh Putt as he claimed the only
wicket helped by a stunning catch by Max Atifeh.
