Bradninch II could only muster eight players for
their A Division trip to Sidmouth III and they
finished the contest with seven after injury to
club stalwart Andy Nicholls!
It was credit to the battling octet that they
were able to accrue a total of 80 thanks mainly
to a 30 from Simon Bailey and a knock of 24 from
Nat Davey.
The hosts lost just the one wicket sealing
victory with the contest all over before 3.30pm.
Despite the player problems the Kensham Park
outfit remain just 28 points shy of the second
promotion berth with two to play and a maximum
points haul this weekend against hosts
Abbotskerswell would make for an exciting last
day when they host Plymstock.
