Bradninch were beaten in the Final of the 2010 Devon Senior Cup when an all too familiar batting collapse befell the side as they slipped from a promising 77-3 to 86-9 in their pursuit of a very gettable 162 in the 40-over game against Bovey Tracey at Plympton.

Gary Chappell led the bowling effort with a three-wicket haul as Bovey batted first and were bowled out for 161 with opening bat Andy Kingdon top-scoring with 54.

The reply got a great start with Tim Piper, a half-centurion the day before at North Devon, hitting 25 and Haydn Murray chipping in with 26 but from a promising 77-3, six wickets fell for just nine runs and although the final wicket partnership at least took the score to three figures, it was a disappointing total of 102 when the final wicket fell.
