The Devon league 'C' Division will have Exeter based CLYST ST. GEORGE amongst its ranks after the villagers suffered relegation from 'B' Division where they had played for all of the previous four seasons, indeed last season's demise came as something of a surprise given that they had not finished lower than 5th in the previous four campaigns.

FENITON move up a level as Champions of the D Division East, a title they won at a canter. The East Devon outfit have had a great recent run in their League Cricket, a 4th place being followed by successive seasons finishing an agonising 2nd behind the one promoted Club before finally securing the promotion berth themselves.

Three sides have been regular 'C' Division fixtures in recent years, KINGSBRIDGE, IPPLEPEN and STOKE GABRIEL, the latter actually winning the section in 2001.

LUSTLEIGH will pose a threat to any side chasing one of the pair of promotion places after their two Championship winning campaigns in the last three years and the Division is completed with the presence of PLYMOUTH CIVIL SERVICE, who plied their trade in 'B' Division until relegation two years ago.

WHIMPLE, who celebrated a Championship win of their own in 2002, DAWLISH, who looked for so much of last season as a "sure fire" bet to go up before an end of season slump saw them finish fourth and THORVERTON who, like Clyst St. George, will be looking to climb straight back up into 'B' Division.
