There’s no change at the top of the ‘Ninch 1st XI batting averages with Dan Hardy hanging on to top spot, though skipper Gary Chappell is breathing down his neck after his 50 against Exeter took him to within four runs of chalking up 300 top flight runs this season and the average is now 43.80 – Hardy to 42.28 – Chappell.

With Chaps still top of the runs scored chart, there’s a new name in second place with Matt Foster edging Tim Piper down into third spot.
