The cricket club skittlers booked themselves a place in the final of the Sampford Peverell and District Skittles League KO Cup final berth after a 461-419 victory over Barmy Army in the semi-final, played at the Pony and Trap, Cullompton.
Chris Hatherly turned out to be the star of the night as he scored a splendid 77 – that the highest score across both KO Cup last four matches – his total included a 24 leg and that was followed by a five!
Eddie Andress also delivered the goods with 71. Next best was the 67 from Phil Chappell whilst Chris Acton, who had earlier in the evening been at the cricket nets, scored a 57.
Mark Perrott had a fifty and three players, Derrick Foan, another who had cricket netted before the semi-final), Dave Trump and Rob Acton, all had sub-50 scores.
The opposition could only muster 61 as a high score on the night!
The other semi-final resulted in a 405-394 victory for Globe Appley B over The Beare.
BCC will now meet Globe Appley B in the final at Cullompton RFC on Wednesday, May 20 (7.30pm).
