Coffee Morning a huge success

The latest COFFEE MORNING was a roaring success. Organised, as ever, by the mercurial Paul Nott with his exceedingly good lady Julie alongside. Julie and Alan Dowrick were right at the forefront of the effort as were Simon and Jill Glendinning.

There was the usual good turnout from the regulars and the usual sum was raised thanks to a busy tea and coffee operation – a draw table – and a stall set up by Paul that included soaps and perfumes as well as some delightful cakes.

Chairman Derrick Foan and President Roy Nott were both in attendance for the morning’s grand draw which included amongst the prizes – a millionaire’s breakfast, the latter a boxed breakfast of black pudding, bacon, eggs, sausage, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms together with a couple of boxes of cereals and a carton of fruit juice complete with a lucky dip ticket for the nights national lottery.

Thanks to one and all for another SUPERB team effort and special thanks to Paul and Julie Nott for driving the whole thing.
