Paul Nott is thankfully now back in the swing of things.
The veteran seamer – also the club’s vice-chairman – has had a torrid time with injury this season, but made a comeback after six weeks out in the 2nd XI home win over Bideford II and then returned to the first eleven fold for the win over Budleigh.
He made it three wins in three when he was part of the Devon Over-50s who defeat Channel Island Over-50s by six wickets at Exmouth on Monday (July 13).
The Channel Islanders batted first and scored 172-9 with Nott opening the bowling and getting through nine overs, and, while wicket less, he only went for 17 runs.
Devon won the game thanks to an unbeaten half-century from Shobrooke Park batsman Richard Pyle.
