Scout AGM held at club

The Cricket Club was the venue for the 2015 BRADNINCH SCOUT GROUP Annual General Meeting.

It was a meeting that began with two of the Bradninch FIVE (the local scout group had five young people selected to travel to Japan for a Jamboree earlier this year) and an outstanding presentation was delivered by Annie and Callum.

There was a question and answer session that followed the two presentations and, judging by the lengthy applause at the end of the talks, it was well received!

Steve Birley ran the bar for the meeting and said:

“The delivery by the two young folk on their experiences in Japan was, quite frankly, spell binding. It was most enjoyable. I really do feel that Bradninch is so fortunate to have such a strong, well supported and superbly run scouts and cub section. I understand they are one of the largest single groups in the county and I am not surprised given how well they seem to be run and how many parents attend the AGM – they’d put many a small sporting club to shame in terms of their general support from members.”

Both the scout and cub groups are set to have Christmas parties at the club in December.
