Bradninch CC are delighted to welcome a new player coach to work – and play – with the 1st XI at Kensham Park.
The new man is 24-year-old South African Luandre Van Wyk.
He was born on May 23, 1990 and played last season for Sandford in the Francis Clark Devon League top flight.
The new man at Kensham Park scored 927 runs in 27 innings for Sandford CC during the 2014 season. His highest knock was one of 138 and he finished the campaign with an impressive average per innings of 44.14. His 2014 bowling stats saw him claim 27 wickets in all and return a bowling average of 33.14.
His previous visit to England led to an impressive 2012 season with Stow CC in the Norfolk Cricket Alliance where he scored 986 runs in 24 knocks with an average of 51.9 per innings and a highest single knock of 116. His best bowling figures were 6-54 and he took an impressive 41 wickets at an average 16.68.
